The contemporary inscription of the City takes place by the radical transformation of the image of the building of the former National School of Decorative Arts, while relying on its primary qualities: monumentality, rhythms of the facades, quality and brightness interior spaces.
A new skin made up of a mixed system of wooden planks - Douglas pine from the Limousin forests - and printed textile membranes evokes both loom wood and color, the raw material of tapestry.
