CoCliCo project

TERRENEUVE office was selected with the CoCliCo project following a call for projects launched by the French Fund for the Global Environment, represented by AFD, with a view to developing passive cooling systems in Senegal associated with bioclimatic earth architecture and the use of revegetation.

The team includes the Regional Development Agency of Fatick, Philippe Delannoy (Paris) and Worofila (Dakar) architects, BioBuild Africa (Dakar) and UrbaSEN (Guédiawaye - Dakar). The project will be carried out in partnership with the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique de Dakar. It will be based on the construction of pilot projects in Ndiob (Fatick region). It includes an urban component and a social component, materialized by the inclusion of buildings in a neighborhood project and the involvement of the population of Ndiob through training actions on pilot sites. The project intends to be directly operational and aims to develop replicable solutions from modeling tools, crossed with field actions, in the Senegalese context and beyond.
